I am retired, a septagenarian,
a USAF veteran,
holder of BSE and MSE Degrees
from Arizona State University,
Roman Catholic,
grandfather of 3 girls and 2 boys,
and a resident of Tempe, Arizona.
On July 20, 2010, the Love of My Life finished her 24 year heroic battle with cancer.

My work here is dedicated to her memory.

April 25th is a very special day to my Australian and New Zealand friends. It commemorates a tragic event in history which

July 4th is celebrated as the birthday of the United States of America. This year (2010) the country celebrated its 234th birthday. While Americans know (or should know) the background, many of my friends from other countries may only have a vague idea of Independence Day in the USA. AND ANOTHER PERSONAL OPINION:

Wearing baseball caps backwards (unless you are playing catcher) seems to me to be rather silly, but to each his own - being silly is not yet illegal.
